Cycleways have been constructed for Noosa Hinterland and Noosa Coastal areas and are an excellent way to travel around the town. Bikes can be rented from a number of locations. Organised cycle tours are arranged by several Noosa bike companies.

Noosa Council have made a number of cycle routes. Just follow the signs.

The routes are a mixture of constructed cycle paths, pavements and roads. In Noosa Shire cyclists may ride on any footpath except in commercial, retail or business areas. You must keep left and give way to pedestrians on footpaths and shared use paths. Cyclists must warn pedestrians when approaching and then pass on the right. At all other times keep to the left.

It is illegal to cycle on Noosa National Park. A permit is required to cycle in Noosa State Forests. Telephone the Kenilworth office of the Parks and Wildlife Service on 07 5446 0925.
